This page brings together the available legal information and the terms that govern access to and use of Stronnect.

Who provides the service

Under article 10 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (Ley 34/2002, LSSI), the owner of stronnect.com and of the Stronnect apps is:

  • Owner: Antonio Gallardo Jiménez
  • Contact email: support@stronnect.com

1. Purpose of the service

Stronnect offers, in its iPhone and Android apps and on the web, a personalised training and nutrition plan, tools to log and analyse workouts and an artificial intelligence Coach, by subscription. Use is personal and non-commercial.

The Coach and the plan provide general training and nutrition guidance; they are not medical advice and do not replace a healthcare professional. The Coach’s replies are generated by an artificial intelligence model and may contain errors.

Your conversations with the Coach are stored in your account and the Stronnect team may review them, and use anonymised copies, to improve the service, as explained in the privacy policy.

2. Requirements for use

  • If you are under 14, you need the permission of your parent or guardian to use Stronnect.
  • Create a personal account with truthful information and keep it up to date.
  • We may suspend accounts that fail to meet these requirements or make improper use of the service.

3. Subscriptions and payments

  • The subscription is monthly (€9.99) or quarterly (€24.99), taxes included, and renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it. A single account gives access in the apps and on the web.
  • Free trial: if the offer includes it, the first 7 days are free, once per person only. If you do not cancel before they end, the first period is charged when the trial ends. During the trial, the artificial intelligence Coach replies to a limited number of messages per day.
  • From the app: payment and renewal are managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through your account with them. It renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and it is managed or cancelled from the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account. Refunds are decided by the store under its own terms.
  • From the web: payment is processed by Stripe. You manage or cancel the subscription from your account on stronnect.com.
  • There are no partial refunds for unused periods, without prejudice to the rights granted to you by law.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel automatic renewal at any time. You will keep access until the end of the period already paid for (or of the trial). Cancelling the subscription does not delete your account: to do that, go to Menu › Settings › Delete my account in the app or to stronnect.com/en/delete-account. If you delete your account, the web subscription is cancelled at that moment; an Apple or Google subscription has to be cancelled by you in its store (App Store or Google Play). When you delete it, the account is closed at once and fully deleted after 30 days; until then you can write to us to recover it. If you signed in with Apple and delete it from your iPhone, Stronnect's access to your Apple ID is also removed.

5. Right of withdrawal

If you subscribe on the website as a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from the purchase to withdraw without giving any reason (articles 102 to 108 of the Spanish consumer protection act, TRLGDCU). To do so, email us at support@stronnect.com with a clear statement that you withdraw, your name and your account email; you can use the template below, but it isn’t mandatory. We’ll refund what you paid, using the same payment method, within 14 days of receiving your decision.

Digital content exception: your personalised plan is prepared straight away. Before paying we ask you to tick expressly that you want to start now and that you know that, as digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, you lose the right of withdrawal once it starts (article 103.m of that act). If you tick it, we keep that acceptance with your order and withdrawal no longer applies once your plan starts being prepared. This doesn’t affect the free trial: during the 7 days you can cancel and you won’t be charged.

Subscriptions bought on the App Store or Google Play follow Apple’s or Google’s refund terms.

Withdrawal template: “To Stronnect (support@stronnect.com): I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my Stronnect subscription contract, purchased on [date], with the email [account email]. Name: [name]. Date: [date].”

6. Intellectual property

The designs, logos, texts, images, code and databases belong to Stronnect or its licensors. Copying, distributing or modifying them without written authorisation is not permitted.

7. Proper use

  • Do not post offensive, fraudulent or illegal content.
  • Do not attempt to access, interfere with or breach the security of the service.
  • Do not infringe the rights of third parties.

8. Disclaimer

Stronnect does not replace medical advice. You are responsible for your use of the app and for your sporting activity. Consult a health professional before starting any exercise programme.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for direct or indirect losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

10. Changes

We may update these terms for legal reasons or to improve the service. We will inform you of relevant changes in the app or by email.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, unless the law provides otherwise.
